Mobile App Development in Nepal (Android & iOS)

An app is a product with a release cycle, not a one-off deliverable. We build for the version after the one you are launching: a backend you can extend, an update path that does not need a rewrite, and store accounts that stay in your company name.

All services

The expensive part of an app is rarely the screens. It is the state you did not plan for - the phone that went offline mid-order, the payment that succeeded on the gateway and failed in your database, the user who reinstalled and lost everything. We design those cases first and let the interface follow, which is why our builds tend to survive their second year.

What app development covers here

Cross-platform builds

React Native or Flutter from one codebase, so Android and iOS ship together and a fix lands in both. Native modules where the platform genuinely needs them - camera, background location, biometrics.

A backend that belongs to you

REST or GraphQL API, proper authentication with refresh tokens, role-based access, and an admin panel your staff can run without calling us. Deployed on your own AstraCloud account, not a black box.

Payments that reconcile

eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay, IME Pay and card gateways, wired with server-side verification and idempotent order handling - so a double tap cannot become a double charge and a dropped connection cannot lose a paid order.

Offline and unreliable networks

Local caching, an outbox for writes made without signal, and conflict rules decided with you rather than guessed. This matters more in Nepal than most product plans admit.

Store submission and updates

Play Console and App Store Connect set up under your organisation, signing keys stored where you can get them back, privacy declarations completed, and the first release shepherded through review.

What we build on

  • React Native and Flutter for production cross-platform apps
  • Kotlin and Swift where a native module is unavoidable
  • Node.js, Django or Laravel for the API layer
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging for push, with a server-side scheduler
  • CI that produces a signed build from a tagged commit, every time

How a project runs

  1. 1

    Talk

A conversation about the problem, not a feature list. We ask what happens today, who does it, and what it costs when it goes wrong.

  2. 2

    Scope

A written scope with phases, what is explicitly out, and a price against each phase. You can take this document to another firm - that is fine, and it means you are comparing like with like.

  3. 3

    Build

Fortnightly demos on real data. You see progress in the working thing, not in a percentage on a chart.

  4. 4

    Launch

Staging first, a rehearsed cutover, and someone watching for the first days. Redirects, certificates and DNS handled by us.

  5. 5

    Support

A handover you can act on, and a maintenance option if you want us to keep watching. Not compulsory.

Questions we get asked

Should we build cross-platform or native?

Cross-platform for almost every business app - a delivery app, a booking app, a member portal, a shop. Go native when the app lives on a hardware capability: heavy real-time video, augmented reality, continuous background sensing. Choosing native for prestige costs roughly twice the budget for the same screens.

How long until we are on the stores?

Eight to fourteen weeks for a first release with accounts, payments and an admin panel. Apple review adds a few days and occasionally a round of corrections; we build the submission requirements in from the start rather than discovering them at the end.

Do you handle the store accounts?

We set them up in your company name and give you the owner role. Developer accounts registered to an agency are one of the hardest things to unwind later, so we do not do it.

What happens after launch?

Apps need maintenance whether or not you change them - the platforms raise their minimum SDK, certificates expire, gateways change APIs. We offer a support retainer for exactly that, and it is optional.

Often bought together

Everything we build can be deployed straight onto AstraCloud hosting or a VPS, in Nepal or internationally, with SSL, backups and the control panel already configured. You are not obliged to host with us, and the price of the build does not change either way.
