Everything a hosting business needs on one server — websites, email, databases, backups, customers and billing — plus the thing older panels never learned to do: run modern applications, not just PHP.
What it is
AstraCloud Panel is the software your hosting runs on. You install it on a clean Ubuntu server and it gives you and your customers a browser interface for websites, DNS, certificates, email, databases, files, backups and applications — the job a control panel has always done. It is licensed per server, and it is developed and supported from Kathmandu.
Why we built it
We ran hosting on the usual panels first. Two things kept hurting. The licence cost per account, which decides whether a small Nepali host can make money at all. And the assumption that every website is PHP — our customers were deploying Next.js, Django, Express and Laravel, and the panel could only really host one of those. So this panel treats a Node or Python application exactly as seriously as a WordPress site.
Who it is for
Hosting companies and resellers who want their own panel rather than a per-account licence; agencies running client sites on one server; and developers who want a server they can deploy to from GitHub without building a pipeline first.

Websites and domains
- Unlimited domains, subdomains and parked domains per account
- A full DNS zone editor, with the panel running its own nameservers
- Free Let’s Encrypt certificates, issued and renewed automatically
- A drag-and-drop website builder, and one-click WordPress
- Per-site PHP version switching, from 7.4 through 8.4
Applications, not just PHP
- Node.js, Python, Django, Ruby, Go, Java, .NET, Rust, Deno, Bun and Elixir
- PHP and Laravel, served from the framework’s own public/ directory
- Import a project straight from GitHub and it builds, starts and gets a URL
- Push-to-deploy webhooks, build logs and per-project environment variables
- Docker containers, a browser terminal and real SSH key management
Databases
- MySQL, with phpMyAdmin signed on for you
- PostgreSQL and MongoDB, both with a browser data explorer
- Remote access you can switch on per database
- Database dumps included in the account backup
- Mailboxes, aliases, forwarders and autoresponders
- Webmail, plus SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up with the domain
- Spam filtering and per-mailbox quotas

- What is AstraCloud Panel?
- A web hosting control panel: the interface you and your customers use to run websites, email, databases and applications on a Linux server. It does the job cPanel/WHM or Plesk does, and it is built and supported from Kathmandu.
- Can I run my own hosting business on it?
- Yes — that is what the licence is for. You get reseller packages, customer accounts, per-feature limits, invoicing and a storefront, so you can sell hosting under your own brand on your own server.
- Which operating systems does it install on?
- Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04, on a clean server. The installer sets up nginx, MySQL, PHP-FPM, the certificate tooling and the panel itself in one command.
- Does it support more than PHP?
- Yes, and it is the main practical difference from a traditional panel. Node.js, Python, Django, Ruby, Go, Java, .NET, Rust, Deno, Bun and Elixir applications are first-class: each gets a managed service, a domain and HTTPS. You can also import a project from GitHub and have it build and deploy itself.
- Can I move from cPanel without downtime?
- The panel migrates accounts one at a time, so you can move a few, check them, and carry on. Nothing changes for a visitor until the DNS is changed, and that stays your call.
- Is support available in Nepali?
- Yes. Support is in Nepali and English, from people in the same time zone as you.
