Move your domain to us and keep everything running. Transfers add a year to your registration.
Before you start: your website and email keep working during a transfer, as long as the DNS records stay the same. Point the domain at us first if you want zero downtime on the switch.
- 1Unlock the domainAt your current registrar, turn off the transfer lock (sometimes called registrar lock).
- 2Get the auth codeAlso called an EPP code or transfer key. The registrar must give it to you on request.
- 3Start the transfer hereSend us the domain and the code and we begin the transfer.
- 4Approve the emailThe registrant address receives a confirmation. Approving it completes the move.
